personally inspiring to see the performers – all different
ages/stages/sizes/abilities – come together and create a special memory
for themselves and the audience members. Maggie especially loved seeing
Ms. Dee as Mother Goose, and we both smiled as the nursery rhymes were
‘brought to life’ for a few magical moments. It is wonderful to have a
forum for the arts right here in downtown Decatur. The intimacy of the

family attended the ‘A Day with Mother Goose’ performance on Saturday
at 4:00 pm. I want to commend the quality and exceptional performance
of the dancers. My granddaughter Janiyah was in complete awe of the
costumes and story line. ‘Ms. Dee’ was spectacular as Mother Goose.
After the show, the dancers were so gracious and polite as they took
pictures with both girls, Janiyah (age three) and Elle (age two).
Everyone was patient and kind as we posed for pictures. You and your
staff are doing a marvelous job with exposing future dancers to the joy

Decatur City Dance is a non-profit dance company. Located in Decatur, Georgia, Decatur City Dance brings the art and experience of high quality dance to audiences in the metro Atlanta area. Three annual performances feature works in a variety of dance styles, including classical ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance. Additional special performances for retirement homes, schools, and community groups are central to DCD's commitment to community outreach.
